A Geelong man is looking forward to driving off into the sunset in a new sports car after winning over $1.3 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.
The man held one of the three division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3881 on Saturday 29 September 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,345,546.88.
As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the Geelong winner also won division three 24 times and division four 90 times, bolstering his total prize to $1,369,288.28.
The stoked bloke admitted he was speechless when a Tatts official called to confirm his win.
“You’re kidding me?! Ha Ha! I’m speechless!” he exclaimed.
“Gee whiz! It’s unbelievable – it really is! Just fantastic! I don’t know what to say!”
When asked how he planned to spend his TattsLotto windfall the thrilled winner revealed he knew exactly who as at the top of his Lotto List.
“I’ll ask my beloved wife what she wants!” he laughed.
“She’s pretty happy with her car, but I think I’d like a new one. I’ve already got something in mind – a new sports car.
“Without this win, I don’t think I’d ever get one! Thank you, Thank you so much!”
The regular player explained he had been buying TattsLotto tickets for decades.
“Believe it or not, I bought my first TattsLotto ticket back when I was an apprentice and I’ve been buying them fairly regularly over the decades ever since,” he said.
“I buy a ticket every Saturday and have had a few wins before. A couple of thousand dollars or two hundred but nothing like this. It’s just unbelieveable!”
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his System 10 entry online at thelott.com, Australia’s official lotteries.
So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday TattsLotto and TattsLotto have created 140 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3881 on Saturday 29 September 2018 were 10, 16, 9, 25, 13 and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 17.
Across Australia there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3811 – two from Victoria and one from New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 298 so far this calendar year, including 112 won by Tatts customers.
Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
