A Glen Waverley man has declared his $1.3 million TattsLotto win will set him up for the rest of his life once retirement comes knocking.
The winning man held one of the four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4259, drawn Saturday 14 May 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $1.3 million.
Speaking with an official from The Lott today, the winning man said it was a shock when he realised he’d won and he was looking forward to living life his way.
“This is amazing!” he proclaimed.
“It’s certainly the most money I’ve ever won so we’re stoked.
“I’ve worked really hard my entire life so this will just allow me to prepare for retirement and give me the ability to live life my way.
“I’ll share it with my family and retire eventually, but I’ve still got some work to do before that happens.
“This is really just an amazing gift.”
The life-changing 36-game QuickPick was purchased at Wheelers Hill Newsagency, Shop 30 200 Jells Road, Wheelers Hill.
Wheelers Hill Newsagency owner Andrew Xue said it was an exciting time for his store, as it only recently sold another division one winning syndicate entry in February 2022.
“We’ve been decorating the store and putting posters up. It’s been a fantastic time for us,” he said.
“All of our customers feel so happy for the winner and have been saying they hope their fellow customer is enjoying the amazing win.
“We’d like to wish the winner all the best for the future and hope that all their dreams come true!”
