It wasn’t just Taylor Swift fans screaming with joy on the weekend, with 12 Melburnians shouting from the rooftops after sharing division one win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The group syndicate, aptly named ‘Charm Me’, was one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto, draw 4443, drawn on Saturday 17 February 2024. Each entry won a division one prize of $683,814.78.

The syndicate’s marked System 10 and 11 entry also won division three 24 times, division four 105 times, division six 160 times, boosting the total windfall to $700,390.58.

Each member of the syndicate took home a $58,365.89 prize.

Shares in the group syndicate, set up by Plenty Luck News & Lotto, Shop 7, 50 Plenty Road, Preston, were also sold at seven other Tatts outlets across Melbourne:

  • Cards Galore, South Yarra
  • Central Lotto, Altona Meadows
  • Doncaster Hills Tatts & Liquor, Doncaster
  • Lilydale Market Lotto, Lilydale
  • Moomba Park Authorised Newsagency, Fawkner
  • North Balwyn Newsagency, Balwyn North
  • West Doncaster News & Lotto, Doncaster

Plenty Luck News & Lotto owner Amol Kapoor said the winning syndicate was a sweet surprise for his outlet.

“We were in shock when we found out our group syndicate held a division one winning entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” he said.

“We have been telling all of our customers that we were due for another division one winning entry as it’s been over a year since we last sold one.

“There will be many smiles in our newsagency this week as we decorate the store with balloons, posters, and streamers.

“I’d like to thank all the retailers who were also a part of the winning syndicate that sold division one. They have been a part of my journey and I hope we can continue this winning streak.

“Congratulations to all the syndicate members who picked up a share of the $740,000 division one win. We hope we can share some of the winning news with you this week!”

With some of the syndicate members holding unregistered entries, The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said some of the winning group might still be unaware of their good fortune.

“While we will be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their tickets to their player card, there are several syndicate members who hold unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group,” she said.

“If you purchased a share in a group syndicate for the recent TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  You can check your ticket via thelott.com or via The Lott app.

“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call the Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4443 on 17 February 2024 were 22, 11, 34, 28, 25 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 35.

Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4443 – five in Victoria and three in New South Wales.
