A syndicate of 10 Campsie players have started the new year sharing a $2.3 million prize from the $40 Million Megadraw on New Year’s Eve.
The store syndicate held one of 17 division one winning entries across Australia in Lotto draw 4221, drawn Friday 31 December 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $2,352,941.18.
In addition to winning division one, the Sydney syndicate’s System 10 QuickPick entry also scored division three 24 times, division four 90 times and division six 80 times, bolstering the total win to $2,378,551.98.
Each member of the syndicate pockets a share worth $237,855.20.
Shares into the winning syndicate were purchased from B2K Newsagency, Shop 20, 18-24 Amy Street, Campsie.
However, as some of the syndicate members were unregistered, they may have yet to discover their division one winning news.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the recent Megadraw draw to check their entries as soon as possible.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their player card, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group,” he said.
“Imagine starting 2022 with almost a quarter of a million dollars in your bank account. That would certainly inspire some new resolutions for the year!
“If you purchased a Lotto syndicate ticket from B2K Newsagency, today’s the day to check it! If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call us on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
