A Wynnum woman has bagged more than just milk and bread on her trip to the shops, being surprised by a $200,000 on her first ever Lucky Lotteries ticket.
The Queenslander held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1619 on Monday 7 August 2023.
“Oh my god! Thank you so much!” the woman exclaimed when the enormity of her win was revealed by an official from The Lott.
“That is an absolute surprise! I’m just at a shopping centre at the moment.
“That’s the first time I’ve entered that game, Lucky Lotteries. It was just a random decision to grab a ticket.
“This is honestly life-changing for me.
“I’ve been wanting to go back to uni and this will help enormously. That’s what I’ll start looking into now.”
The woman’s winning entry of one number was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
