A Morphett Vale woman now believes good things come in threes after winning the top prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket for the third time!

Her latest win was $200,000 on a $15 Crosswords Book.

The top prize winning Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Campbell’s Newsagency, Shops 14 & 15 / Southgate Plaza, Morphett Vale.

Speaking to a SA Lotteries official this morning to claim her prize, the happy woman admitted her win had come at the perfect time.

“This was my lunch break scratch! It’s a bit of a tradition. Whenever I buy an Instant Scratch-Its ticket I always scratch it when I am eating lunch,” she explained.

“I especially love the Crosswords Instant Scratch-Its because they’re a bit of a brain teaser, a bit of fun.

“Once I realised I had won, I went straight to my son’s room and woke him up from a nap! He didn’t believe me.

“We were both so shocked. It is just incredible.

“I am thrilled, completely over the moon. This is so exciting.

“I have had a lot of bad luck lately, life hasn’t been great, but this will completely change my life! I feel like I have done a complete 180 degrees turn and life is great again.

“This win could not have come at a better time. It really is going to make my life so much better and easier.

“I feel as though I have been given a new start at life. Someone up there must really like me.”

Remarkably, the Morphett Vale woman explained this wasn’t the first time she won a top prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

“This is the third top prize I have won on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket!” she admitted.

“The first time I won $25,000 and then a day later I won $100,000!

“The $100,000 prize, which was won on Friday 13th, bought me the house I live in now!

“I thought those two wins were fantastic, but winning a third time, now that is amazing!”

When asked how she planned to spend her instant windfall, the thrilled winner admitted she would be smart with her prize.

“I am not the type of person who will splurge, I will use it practically. It will help me get things done that I have been needing to do, but couldn’t afford,” she said.

“I am just so glad that I can help my son out now.

“I also have a list of things I’d like to do on the house and I can finally buy new tyres for my car. The rest I will keep for a rainy day when I really need it.”

Campbell’s Newsagency employee Fiona Burr said the outlet was thrilled to have sold a top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

“We are ecstatic! It’s wonderful one of our customers is now $200,000 richer!

“Hopefully this is the start of a winning streak and we deliver more prizes to our customers.”

Last financial year, there were 158 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across the Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $11.28 million.

It can happen in an instant. It could happen to you.
