A Gosford man is waving goodbye to years of weekend work and saying hello to more time with friends and family after landing $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Central Coast resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1771, drawn Monday 23 February 2026. He looks forward to a neat $200,000.
When an official from The Lott rang and confirmed the thrilling news, the hard-working winner was stopped dead in his tracks.
“Wow, that’s just amazing!” he cheered.
“I’ve put you on speaker phone and my wife is beside me. We’re both grinning from ear to ear right now.
“That’s just incredible news.
“I don’t think it’ll sink in for a while.
“I might finally be able to have some Saturdays off work.
“I’ve been working six days a week for years, so I’ll now be able to slow down, relax and spend more time with family which will be great.
“We’ll also be able to wipe out our mortgage. I can’t believe it!”
His winning entry of seven random numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $25.60 million for draw 1772, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.15 million for draw 11062.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
