A syndicate of 23 Craigieburn warehouse workers are clocking on this morning with winning smiles after they scored a division one prize of $467,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melbourne locals held one of the 12 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4051, drawn Saturday 16 May 2020 and take home a division one prize of $410,606.71.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the syndicate’s winning entry also scored them division two 6 times, division three 18 times, division four 90 times and division five 60 times, bolstering their total prize to $467,642.71.

Confirming the win with an official from the Lott this morning, the syndicate leader explained he had discovered the win over the weekend and had spent the weekend celebrating.

“I checked the ticket online on Sunday morning and discovered the very, very good news!” he exclaimed.

“It’s actually a syndicate of 23 workmates. We’ve been playing these numbers for about 10 weeks now. We all just chose a few at random.

“I sent everyone a photo of the ticket and told them we’d won. They didn’t believe it.

“It feels good to know that we’ve won. It feels so good to say we are division one winners!

“I told all of my family and friends, and we spent the weekend dancing and celebrating.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his share of the windfall, the syndicate leader revealed he couldn’t wait to spoil his kids.

“I think I’ll buy my kids a car to share!” he declared.

“If they’re happy, I’m happy!”

The winning marked System 10 entry was purchased at Highlands News & Lotto, Shop 17, Stockland Highlands, 300 Grand Boulevard, Craigieburn.

Highlands News & Lotto manager Kevin Ung said he was celebrating his outlet selling two division one winning entries in two weeks.

“I can’t believe we sold two division one winning entries two Saturdays in a row! How good is that?!” he exclaimed.

“We sold a division one winning syndicate share last week and now another division one winner!

“We’ve sold 17 division one winning entries over the past eight years.

“We’ll be celebrating in-store with all my customers. All of my customers are very loyal, and I feel privileged to help people achieve their dreams of winning division one.

“Congratulations to our winners! Nothing else can compare to winning division one so we hope they are very happy!”
