An Arana Hills mum says she can’t wait to see a spare $100,000 glistening in her bank account after scratching the exciting prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The top prize winning $5 Atlantis Adventure ticket was purchased at News Extra Arana Hills, Shop 13B, Kmart Plaza, Patricks Road & Dawson Parade, Arana Hills.
Sharing her joy with an official from The Lott this morning, the regular player said she couldn’t wait to celebrate her win.
“I am so excited!” she exclaimed.
“I buy scratchies from my local newsagency quite often and I went there today like I regularly do and scratched the ticket then and there.
“I had to triple check it. I thought there was no way I could have won $100,000!
“We were all so excited. The people inside the newsagency were so happy.
“I think I’m still in shock. It’s just unreal.
“I bought myself a bottle of expensive French champagne to celebrate!
“I am very happy. It will be crazy seeing that money in my account!”
When asked what she thought she might do with an extra $100,000, the Queensland winner explained how she would enjoy the prize.
“I need to take some time to soak it up and make a plan,” she explained.
“I want to get some renovations done around the house and take the family on a holiday.
“It will be so nice!”
In 2020, there were 177 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across The Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $16 million in top prizes.
