Twenty-four Queenslanders have started the week with a hefty boost to their bank accounts, sharing a division one prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The players are members of a syndicate that held one of the 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4257, drawn Saturday 7 May 2022.
In addition to winning the division one prize of $1,818,181.82, the syndicate’s System entry also won division two 6 times, division three 66 times, division four 990 times, division five 1,100 times, and division six 3,300 times, bolstering the total win to $1,973,297.62.
Each member of the syndicate has won a share worth $82,220.74. However, some ticketholders may have yet to discover their good fortune.
Entries into the winning syndicate were sold at 20 Golden Casket outlets across Queensland.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw to check their entries as soon as possible.
“We know some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune and can look forward to a hefty boost to their bank account,” he said.
“However, others may be completely obvious to their win. Imagine how scoring a slice of a division one prize might brighten the winter months ahead.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their player cards, some members have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.
“If you purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate entry into the weekend’s draw, today’s the day to check it! If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call us on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4257 on 7 May 2022 were 6, 45, 13, 11, 17 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 23.
Across Australia, there were 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4257 – four from Queensland, three from Victoria, and one each from New South Wales, South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 155 so far this calendar year, including 34 won by Golden Casket customers.
