A Bathurst man can’t believe his luck after taking home an astonishing $100,000 from today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw on a free ticket he’d won in a previous draw.
The Central Tablelands resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10622, drawn on Monday 25 July 2022.
Immediately after the draw, officials from The Lott broke the winning news to the man.
“Oh my f****** god!” the winning man cheered.
“Are you serious? I’ve just won the 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot!
“Oh my god, I’m shaking!
“To tell you the truth, I’ve been running around all day so I had no idea.
“I’ve got a house full of sick people at the moment so I’ve been running around after them.
“When I saw an unknown number trying to call me, I almost didn’t answer.
“I can’t believe I won on a free ticket – I only ever win small prizes!
“I have no idea how I’m going to spend it. I’m still in shock.
“You have changed the colour of my week.
“This prize is going to help. It’ll definitely help us take the pressure off.
“Thank you so much!”
His winning entry of one random number was from online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $12.53 million for draw 1583, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $19.91 million for draw 10624.
In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.
