An Armidale woman has shared she can’t wait to kick back and enjoy an early retirement after bagging $200,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw.
The New South Wales woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1594, drawn Wednesday 6 October 2022.
Confirming her prize with an official from The Lott, the winning woman said she initially didn’t believe she’d won at all.
“At first, I thought I was just being notified that someone else had won the 1st Prize!” she said.
“Then I checked my entry again and thought, ‘wait, I think I’m the one that’s won!’.
“It was an absolutely incredible feeling.
“I started the night in a state of shock, and by the end of the night, I was looking at house prices and planning when I’d retire.
“Thank you so much.
“This means so much to me!”
Her winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $15.41 million for draw 1595, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $31.095 million for draw 10710.
In FY22, 169 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
