Aussies keen for a chance to be a multi-millionaire by Christmas are eyeing the $30 million Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize – currently the biggest offer of any Australian lottery game.

For the first time in more than five years, the jackpot prize for Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot has soared past $30 million and is now $30.04 million for draw 1172, due to be drawn on Thursday 6 December.

The last time the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize surpassed $30 million was in November 2013.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said the frequency of Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draws had increased dramatically as the multi-million dollar jackpot prize climbed.

“Lucky Lotteries is a raffle-style game where there is only a limited number of unique numbers available in each draw. When all of those numbers are sold, a draw is held.

“Demand for Lucky Lotteries tickets has hit a point where we are now almost conducting a Lucky Lotteries draw each day. With a jackpot prize of more than $30 million up for grabs, players are keen to secure a chance to win that massive prize.

“Imagine how your Christmas might look with $30 million in your bank account.  Would you relocate your Christmas lunch to a beautiful beach house or head overseas for a white Christmas?

“The beauty of Lucky Lotteries is that there is no sharing of prizes.  If your winning number matches the jackpot number drawn, you win the entire jackpot of more than $30 million.”

The last time someone won the entire jackpot prize in a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw was in January 2017 when a young woman from Rydalmere in Sydney’s north-west took home $7.48 million.

As the jackpot has continued to climb, in the meantime Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot players have snared more than $19 million in 1st Prizes so far in 2018.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $30.04 million for draw 1172 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.8 million for draw 10260.

Players can purchase a single ticket number into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for $2.20 and the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot for $5.50.
