A generous Bangor mum can’t wait to put a smile on the faces of her adult children by sharing her $25,000 Instant Scratch-Its win with them.
The top prize winning $2 Splash for Cash Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at SV News and Gifts, 18 Bandalong Crescent, Bangor.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the winning woman said she was overjoyed by the win and couldn’t wait to share it with her adult children.
“I’m over the moon with the win,” she exclaimed.
“I’ve never won anything like this before. I normally grab Instant Scratch-Its tickets because it’s fun, so to have had this happen is fantastic.
“I didn’t believe it was true at first. I called my daughter and asked her to check the ticket as well so I could make sure I was right.
“The first thing I’ll do is share it with my children and family.
“It will be fantastic to see the smiles on their faces.”
SV News and Gifts owners Amit and Teena Gupta said it was the first top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket their outlet had sold and were elated for their winning customer.
“It’s fantastic news!” they said.
“We’ve been waiting for a big prize to be won at our store and it feels great now that it has happened.
“We’re so excited for the customer and wish them all the best in the future.”
