A Bathurst woman says she’ll be spending the weekend celebrating after scoring $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1464, drawn Friday 13 December 2019.
A NSW Lotteries official broke the exciting news to the woman this afternoon, who had been completely oblivious to her win.
“Oh my god,” she eventually managed.
“Are you telling me that I’ve won $200,000?
“That’s incredible! Wow.
“What a lovely feeling. That’s such awesome news.
“You’ve made my day and my week, maybe even my year!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her surprise windfall, the winner revealed she’d need some time to think.
“I have no idea,” she laughed.
“You’ve caught me completely off guard so I really have no idea.
“I’ll be able to pay off my mortgage and go for a holiday. That would be lovely!
“You bet I’ll be celebrating this weekend!”
The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $9.09 million for draw 1465 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.02 million for draw 10339.
