A self-proclaimed Bendigo battler has revealed he’ll waste no time in booking the holiday of a lifetime for him and his wife after winning more than $738,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Victorian resident held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4405, drawn Saturday 7 October 2023, and pocketed a division one prize of $738,668.19.
“Unbelievable! Simply unbelievable!” the flabbergasted winner exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his windfall.
“I don’t know how to process this.
“Wow, you dream of getting this phone call, but you never expect it to actually happen.
“My wife and I are retired, and this will undoubtedly change our lives.
“I can’t wait to get onto booking a holiday for us!
“We won’t go overseas but we’d love to travel around Australia.
“My kids will never believe me either! I’ll be able to help them get ahead in life and that’s the best feeling in the world.
“Thank you so much.”
The division one winning entry was purchased at City Central Newsagency, Shop 1, 5 Queen Street, Bendigo.
The City Central Newsagency team said they were over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and wished their winning customer all the best.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4405 on 7 October 2023 were 18, 23, 25, 37, 28 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 16 and 8.
Across Australia, there seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4405 – Three each in Victoria and South Australia and one in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 320 so far in 2023, including 107 won by Tatts customers.
