A new mattress and a new car are just some of the items on the shopping list of a Blair Athol mum who scored a $200,000 lottery windfall.

The Adelaide resident won the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1555, drawn 30 December 2021.

“It’s the best! I’m so happy!” the woman exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“I never ever in a million years thought something like this would happen to us. We are shaking. We are over the moon!

“I checked my ticket yesterday, and I couldn’t believe it. I checked and checked. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

“I called my husband, and he had to pull over onto the side of the road. We were both in a state of shock.

“We’re going to buy a new car, buy a good mattress and spoil our kids.

“I’ve never been able to spoil my kids – they’re good kids – but now I can!”

The woman’s winning entry of one random number was purchased at Northpark Newsagency, Shop 78, Northpark Shopping Centre, 264 Main North Road, Prospect.

Northpark Newsagency owner Vinod Ghanderi said the prize was the second major win for his outlet since he took ownership in 2018.

“Last year we sold a $160,000 prize in Keno, and now this $200,000 prize.  It’s great to see the wins growing for our customers,” he said.

“We wish our latest winner all the very best with her prize.”
