An East Melbourne man is one step closer to fulfilling his dream of owning his own home after scoring $200,000 in the recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The victorious Victorian won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1552, drawn Friday 3 December 2021.
“Wow! I can’t believe it. Is this real?” he happily questioned.
“I logged into my online account and clicked on the ticket, that’s when I saw $200,000! I’m still trying to put things together. I’m speechless.
“It’s been such a hard year for my wife and I. We’ve been back and forth with trying to purchase a house with the hiking interest rates and the recent developments in the property market.

“My wife arrives home from a business trip this week, and I can’t wait to surprise her with the news.

The man’s winning ticket was a free ticket he received while playing lotteries online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.32 million for draw 1553, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $4.92 million for draw 10509.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 136 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $46.09 million.
