A Brisbane tradie has had to climb off the roof he was working on this morning to hear the news he’s kicked off the week a multi-millionaire.
The south-east Queenslander held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4207, drawn Saturday 13 November 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $3,001,122.85.
When an official from The Lott reached out to the man earlier today to break the life-changing news, he explained he’d first have to climb down his ladder.
“Holy sh*t!” he managed eventually.
“I feel like I’m about to faint. I’m shaking. I think I’m going to cry.
“Holy moly. Holy sh*t.
“I’m at work this morning, and I had no idea.
“I’m going to have to go home and tell the missus. She’s not going to believe it!”
With $3 million about to hit his bank account, the Brisbane tradie couldn’t quite comprehend how much that would change his life.
“I’d say we’ll pay off our mortgage to begin with,” he said.
“Then I don’t know! Maybe buy another house.
“This stuff doesn’t happen to me, so I have no idea!”
