A Budgewoi woman, revelling in her second 1st Prize Lucky Lotteries win in three decades, is looking forward to retiring thanks to her latest $100,000 windfall.

The Central Coast resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10549, drawn Monday 4 April 2022.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the shocked woman confessed she hadn’t thought to check her entry for almost a week, thinking it was impossible she could win again.

“This is incredible!” she proclaimed.

“My husband and I won the 1st Prize years and years ago but didn’t think it would ever happen again.

“We play every week and to receive this phone call is just amazing!

“My whole family will celebrate with a fantastic dinner, and then I’ll tuck it away for retirement.

“I’ve been looking forward to that for a long time. It’s great to know we’re secure.”

The winning entry was purchased at Budgewoi Newsagency, 77 Scenic Drive, Budgewoi.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $8.93 million for draw 1568, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $10.66 million for draw 10553.

In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
