A Campsie father has struggled to convince his family he’s suddenly $100,000 richer after taking home the 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Southern Sydney winner won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10489, drawn Friday 10 September 2021.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the winner also scored a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting his total windfall to $102,000.
When an official from The Lott finally got a hold of the winner this morning to confirm the news, he was still recovering from the revelation of his windfall.
“I’m very happy! I found out the day after the draw,” the merry man said.
“I couldn’t believe the news. I went to tell my family straight away, and they thought I was pranking them.
“My son said to me, ‘stop lying!’. I certainly proved him wrong!
“Once I scanned the ticket on The Lott app, I showed them the prize money. They now think I’m lucky.
“Thank you very much!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the family man said he would be sensible..
“I’m going to put it straight in the bank! It will be classified as savings,” he shared.
“I won’t be celebrating the windfall until we come out of lockdown. But I can’t wait to do so!”
His winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased at Kim’s Mart, Shop 3, 179 Beamish Street, Campsie.
