A Caroline Springs couple has confessed they’ve already started planning a family holiday to Europe, going so far as booking flights, after bagging $775,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Caroline Springs residents held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4351, drawn Saturday 1 April 2023 and took home a total division one prize of $775,265.76.
“Oh my god! I’ve been so stressed out since we discovered this win,” the winning wife exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm the incredible windfall.
“I got up on Sunday morning, and my husband told me to sit down because he had something important to tell me.
“My mind was racing at the thought of what it could be, and then when he showed me the win, I thought he was joking.
“I was waiting to hear, ‘April fools!’.
“It’s started to sink in now! It’s unbelievable.
“This win will do so much for our family. We’re basically future-proof now, which is incredible.
“And we’re off to Europe! We deserve a holiday, so we’ve already looked at booking tickets and we’ll be off to see the sights in no time.
“This is life-changing! Thank you so much!”
Their winning three-game System 7 QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4351 on 1 April 2023 were 10, 39, 36, 25, 45 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 40 and 8.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4351 – Four in Victoria and one each in Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania.
