A Central Coast man is still coming to grips with the news he’s suddenly $200,000 richer after scoring the 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1366, drawn Wednesday 26 June 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man revealed although he had all weekend to let the news sink in, he still couldn’t believe it.
“Awesome! Yeeha!” he exclaimed.
“Thank you so much.
“I checked my ticket over the weekend and I had no idea I had won a huge prize.
“It was such a good surprise!
“It still hasn’t sunk in yet!”
The winner explained his windfall would finally mean the end of mortgage repayments.
“I’ll pay the house off and there’s definitely going to be a holiday in there,” he declared.
“I’d love to go to Canada or America!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Foodworks Wyee, Shop 5, Wyee Shopping Village, 123 Wyee Road, Wyee.
Foodworks Wyee owner Melanie Southwood said she was thrilled the outlet had scored its second major win in the past six months.
“We’re very excited as it wasn’t that long ago we sold a division one winning Monday Lotto entry,” she said.
“We’re hoping the outlet is on a winning streak!
“Were very excited for the winner and hope it makes a huge difference in his life.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $77.80 million for draw 1371 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.06 million for draw 10297.
