A Redcliffe resident or visitor scored a sweet million-dollar treat in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw but may be unaware of the fact they’re a newly-minted millionaire.
The elusive Moreton Bay player held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4315, drawn Wednesday 23 August 2023 and took home $1 million.
The winning entry was not registered to a player card, which means officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winner of their life-changing win and must wait for them to check their ticket.
The winning ticket was purchased at Midway News, Shop 2, 544 Oxley Avenue, Redcliffe.
Midway News owner Deepak Rawat said he was over the moon to have sold a division one winning entry and hoped the mystery winner discovered the newfound fortune as soon as possible.
“We couldn’t believe the news when we found out we’d sold a division one winning entry in last night’s draw,” he said.
