A Gawler resident or visitor has become a multi-millionaire overnight after scoring a life-changing $4.8 million in last night’s Set for Life draw, though they may not know it yet.

The elusive winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3392, drawn Monday, 18 November 2024 and pocketed $4.8 million to be paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 for 20 years.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Northern News, Shop 24, Gawler Central Shopping Centre, 1 Cowan Street, Gawler.

The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she couldn’t wait to unite South Australia’s latest division one winner with their annuity prize.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Northern News to check their tickets today,” she said.

"“If this winner had registered their entry to a player card or online account, they would have already been united with their prize.

“It's a great reminder to players of the importance of registering your tickets to a player card or online account so all of your prizes are secure, and you can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won Set for Life. Your plans for the next 20 years would certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account every month!

“Make sure you check your tickets, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”
