Christmas could come early for a Bentleigh player who landed $653,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, but first they need to check their ticket and come forward to claim their prize.

The mystery Melburnian held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto, draw 4417, drawn Saturday 18 November 2023 and took home $653,226.42.

The winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way to contact the winner to break the exciting news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The division one winning entry was purchased at The News Centre, 395 Centre Road, Bentleigh.

The News Centre manager Elly Pham said she’s extremely grateful to be a part of a life-changing experience and hoped her mystery winner checked their ticket as soon as possible.

“It’s such a remarkable achievement to have sold a division one winning entry and it brings immense pride to our team to be a part of someone’s life-changing moment,” she said.

“This is our 19th division one winning entry since we first started operating, but we only just took over this business three months ago, so it’s a really big milestone for us.

“Our customers will be absolutely thrilled to hear that we had sold a division one winning entry in TattsLotto, and I’m sure many of them will be hoping they’re the fortunate winner.

“We hope our division one winner checks their TattsLotto ticket at our outlet soon. We would love to share the winning news with them. Congratulations to the mystery player and all the best!”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said The Lott was in the business of paying prizes and looked forward to uniting the winner with their TattsLotto loot.

“It’s likely our latest winner is going about their day as normal with no idea they’ve won division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw!” she exclaimed.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from The News Centre in Bentleigh to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve won more than $653,000. Your plans for the festive season would certainly change with a wondrous prize in your bank account.

“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox, because the winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize too!
