Five mystery Melburnian players have had a winning weekend sharing a $2.5 million win in the TattsLotto draw, though they may have yet to realise their good fortune.

The five-person store syndicate held one of the eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4499, drawn Saturday 31 August 2024. Each entry scored $2,500,000.00.

The syndicate’s marked System entry also scored division three 36 times, division four 225 times, and division six 420 times, bolstering their total windfall to $2,542,996.30.

Each member of the syndicate pocketed a share worth $508,599.26.

However, the five-member syndicate all held unregistered entries meaning officials from The Lott have no way of notifying the winners of their life-enhancing win and instead must wait for them to check their tickets and come forward.

Shares in the group syndicate were set up by Tobacco Station Campbellfield, 341 Barry Road, Campbellfield.

Tobacco Station Campbellfield co-owner Wendy Guo said she was thrilled to hear her outlet had sold a division one winning syndicate and urged local players to check their tickets soon.

“It’s so exciting to hear that we’ve had another division one winning syndicate in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” she said.

“This is our third division one winning syndicate for the year. We had one win in March, one in July and now another one!

“It feels like we’re on a winning syndicate streak and we can’t believe it!

“We will be sporting winning smiles all week at our newsagency and can’t wait to decorate the store with balloons, posters, and streamers.

“We hope our mystery syndicate players check their TattsLotto tickets and come forward soon.”

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said the syndicate entry all held unregistered entries, and the members are likely completely oblivious to their TattsLotto win.

“It’s been a winning weekend for this five-member syndicate who each shared a slice of the $2.5 million prize. We can imagine the winning news has come as a welcomed boost at the start of the week,” she said.

“We’re urging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto syndicate ticket from Tobacco Station Campbellfield to check their tickets today!

“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4499 on 31 August 2024 were 6, 39, 15, 20, 32 and 4  while the supplementary numbers were 30 and 1.
