A Bendigo resident or visitor snagged a TattsLotto division one win on the weekend, but first, they need to check their ticket and discover their life-enhancing $900,000 prize.

The mystery Goldfields region player held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4589, drawn Saturday 12 July 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $919,024.03.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their newfound treasure. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The division one winning entry was purchased at Golden Square Newsagency, 303 High Street, Golden Square.

Golden Square Newsagency owner Kevin Chen shared he was thrilled to hear his outlet had sold a division one winning entry, and was carrying on its winning reputation.

“I was thrilled to open an email from The Lott first thing this morning to discover the good news,” he said.

“We will be putting up balloons and streamers in-store to share the joy with our customers and the local community.

“Over the last two decades, this outlet has sold more than 25 division ones across The Lott draws and games. I’m very happy we can continue the winning streak.

“We send our best wishes to the mystery winner and hope they enjoy their life-changing prize.”

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped Bendigo’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and discovered their newfound treasure soon.

“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they won a division one prize in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” she said.

“We’re encouraging anybody who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Golden Square Newsagency to check their ticket as soon as possible because they could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you’ve taken home more than $900,000? Your plans for the rest of 2025 and beyond could change in a heartbeat.

“Make sure you check your tickets, and if you do discover that you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.

“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they are to score a major prize, we can reach out to them with the winning news.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4589 on 12 July 2025 were 36, 9, 37, 35, 23 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 20 and 31.
