Budgewoi Newsagency owner Venugopal Kunamneni said he and his team were very happy to have sold a 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries.

"This is fantastic! We last sold a 1st Prize ticket in May 2022, so we're thrilled to have another major prize winner," he said.

"We're spreading the excitement to customers and have put up posters in the store announcing the win.

Congratulations to the mystery winner and we’re so happy for you! Have fun and enjoy the winning moment.”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped the region’s latest major lottery prize winner checked their winning ticket soon.

“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they won the 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw,” she said.

“We’re urging anyone who purchased a Lucky Lotteries ticket from Budgewoi Newsagency to check their tickets as soon as possible because they could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you’ve taken home $100,000? Your plans for the rest of 2025 and beyond could change in a heartbeat.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $13.36 million for draw 1721, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $630,001 for draw 11041.

In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
