A Canberra resident or visitor is starting the week $100,000 richer after scooping up the 1st Prize win in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw, though they may not yet realise it.

The mystery ticketholder held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10949, drawn Tuesday 25 March 2025. They can look forward to a total prize of $100,000.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Cignall Casey, Shop 16, Casey Market Town, 15 Kingsland Parade, Casey.

Cignall Casey store supervisor Kristy McDiarmid shared she was ecstatic to hear someone apart of the local community had won such a big prize.

“We were all really surprised and excited to hear we’d sold a 1st Prize winning ticket worth $100,000,” she said.

“It’s been a while since we sold a major prize-winning ticket, so it’s great to see a big win land in our community.

“We hope our mystery winner checks their ticket soon and can start enjoying their prize.

“A big congratulations to our mystery winner from everyone at Cignall Casey.”

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped Canberra’s latest 1st Prize winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.

“Whoever is holding this golden ticket may have no idea they’re walking around $100,000 richer!” she said.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from Cignall Casey to check their ticket today!

“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you’re the winner we’re searching for! Your plans for the rest of the year could change in an instant.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.08 million for draw 1699, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $14.28 million for draw 10950.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2024, more than 195.3 million winners took home more than $4.84 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Weekday Windfall, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno (SA), Super 66, Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.8 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.
