Lottery officials are hoping to make today a whole lot brighter for one Dandenong resident who won $200,000 in the most recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw – but first, they need to check their ticket and discover their winning news.

The Melbournian player won the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1536, drawn Thursday 17 June 2021.

The ticket is unregistered, so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased Palm Plaza Lotto, 49 McCrea Street, Dandenong.

Palm Plaza Lotto owner Sineth Sar said she couldn’t be happier for the winner, especially during the current lockdown.

“This is great news! It’s a very good prize,” she exclaimed.

“Most of our customers who come through to purchase Lucky Lotteries tickets are regulars.

“This prize is adding to our winning streak of 37 major prize wins over 20 years. We believe our store has the ‘magic touch’.

“We were recently given an award  for our large number of winners, and we received the best local store prize.

“In Victoria, it has been very hard with COVID-19. We do a lot of fundraising in the community, and we believe in good karma.

“We would like to say congratulations to the winner. We’re so happy for them and wish them all the best. This money can help their family during this difficult time for everyone!”
