A Doncaster lottery player unwittingly became the suburb’s newest millionaire over the weekend after winning division one in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw but has yet to claim their prize.

The elusive player held one of the five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4359, drawn Saturday 29 April 2023, and scored $1,052,589.03.

The newly-minted millionaire is an unregistered player, meaning officials from The Lott are unable to contact the winner and share the exciting news with them.

The unregistered division one winning entry was purchased at Tunstall News & Lotto, 4 Tunstall Square, Doncaster East.

Tunstall News & Lotto owner John Katsikis said he was all too familiar with division one wins, with this prize being the twenty-first major prize-winning lottery ticket sold at his outlet.

“It’s great! Not the first time for us though, we sold another division one winning ticket almost a year ago today,” he exclaimed.

“It’s always incredible to see people win and have their lives changed.

”We would love for the winner to come into the shop to discover the news face to face, but we’re just excited and over the moon for whoever the winner is.

“Customers have been frantically checking their tickets in hopes it’s them!”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting for the winner to come forward so she could share this life-changing news with them.

“It’s funny to think this winner is going about their day normally, completely oblivious to the fact that life as they know it is about to change completely,” she said.

“If you have a TattsLotto ticket you haven’t checked yet, now is the time! Check your entries and you might very well be jumping for joy!”

“Unclaimed winnings from unregistered tickets are something we do see from time to time at The Lott, so we always urge our players to register their details with us to ensure they can be notified of any wins immediately.

“If you discover you’re the winner of this life-changing windfall, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize”.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4359 on 29 April 2023 were 4, 18, 15, 16, 45 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 11.
