A Broadbeach resident or visitor is walking into the working week as a millionaire after scoring more than $1.8 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw, but they may have yet to discover their good fortune.
The elusive Gold Coast player held one of the 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409 on Saturday 21 October 2023. Each entry took home a $1,818,181.82 division one prize.
However, as the winning entry is not registered to a player card, officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the ticketholder and must wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Pacific Fair News, Shop 1571 Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Hooker Boulevard, Broadbeach.
Pacific Fair News owner Anthony Milligan said the entire team was thrilled for their winning customer and couldn’t believe they’d been part of such a life-changing moment.
“We were only speaking about how amazing it would be to sell a division one entry the other day, and then it happened!” he said.
“We’ve been letting every one of our customers know we’re a winning outlet and you can feel the buzz it creates within the store.
“It’s going to be amazing when our winner checks their entry and realises they’ve become a newly made millionaire.
“I just hope they’re as excited as we are and cherish the moment!”
The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said he hoped the Gold Coast’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve won a division one prize in the weekend’s draw,” he said.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409 on 21 October 2023 were 30, 29, 7, 2, 31 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 33.
Across Australia, there were 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4409 – four each in Queensland and New South Wales, two in Victoria and one in Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 340 so far in 2023, including 90 won by Golden Casket customers.
