A Millicent resident or visitor is certain to have a weekend of celebrating ahead – if only they would check their Wednesday X Lotto entry and discover they are $1 million richer.
The mystery winner holds one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 3855, drawn Wednesday 27 March 2019. Each winner takes home the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.
The ticket is unregistered, so SA Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner with the life-changing news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Millicent Newsagency & Stationery Supplies, 5 Glen Street, Millicent.
SA Lotteries spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said Millicent’s newest millionaire could be walking around with the winning ticket in their pocket and not even know it.
“There are a million reasons why Monday & Wednesday X Lotto players from Millicent should check their tickets today! Imagine how your plans for the weekend - and your future – may change once you discover you are now a millionaire!” she said.
“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an unregistered entry in last night’s Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
“We’re urging all Monday & Wednesday X Lotto players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact SA Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
Ms Spencer also reminded players of the importance of registering their entries.
“It is really important that you register your entries to an EasiPlay card so that we can contact you directly with the good news in the case of a win!”

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 3855 on Wednesday 27 March 2019 were 6, 14, 20, 18, 25 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 41.
