The search is on for Western Sydney’s newest multi-millionaire, with a resident or visitor to the region completely unaware they’re walking around with a jackpot winning Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket worth $11.73 million.
The elusive New South Wales player won the jackpot prize of $11,730,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1476, drawn Thursday 30 January 2020.
The ticket is unregistered, so NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Ermington Newsagency, 2 Betty Cuthbert Avenue, Ermington.
Ermington Newsagency owner Dennis Cai said he was thrilled to have made one of his customers a multi-millionaire.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said the mystery Western Sydney winner could be oblivious to the fact their winning entry is in their pocket, in their purse or stuck on the fridge. “If you purchased a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket in draw 1476 from Ermington Newsagency you have over 11 million reasons why you should check your ticket today,” she said.
“Just imagine how your plans for the rest of the year could change!
“Make sure you check your wallet, handbag, fridge door and car glovebox. Previous winners have found valuable tickets in all sorts of strange places.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1 million for draw 1477 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.19 million for draw 10348.
