Lottery officials are calling on Wollongong residents and visitors to check their Lucky Lotteries tickets after a mystery player scored a life-enhancing $200,000 in yesterday’s draw.

The New South Wales player held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1781, drawn Monday 23 March 2026. They can look forward to a neat $200,000 prize.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their windfall.

Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Warilla Grove Newsagency, Shop 9B, Warilla Grove Shopping Centre, 43-57 Shellharbour Road, Warilla.

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said the mystery winner could be in for an early Easter treat, but first, they need to check their ticket and come forward to claim their prize.

“Imagine not knowing you’ve scooped up $200,000 thanks to Lucky Lotteries! That’s the reality for one Wollongong player,” she said.

“While we’ve been unable to confirm the thrilling win with New South Wales’ latest major prize winner, we’re sure that when they check their ticket and discover the news, they’ll be jumping for joy.

“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a ticket from Warilla Grove Newsagency to check their entries because they might be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“Take a moment to look around the house and in your car for any unchecked lottery tickets. You never know where a winning ticket might be hiding in plain sight.

“Players can check their tickets in-store, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app. If you discover you’re holding the winning ticket, please hold onto the ticket and call The Lott on 131 868 to start the exciting prize claim process.

“This is a great reminder to all players to always register your ticket to The Lott Members Club, so if you were to win big, we could call you with the exhilarating news.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.24 million for draw 1782, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.67 million for draw 11066.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
