A Coomera woman is full of Christmas cheer and ready to welcome the new year as a millionaire after winning more than $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.
The Gold Coast resident held one of the two division one winning entries across Australia in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4245, drawn Wednesday 21 December 2022, and pocketed a total prize of $1,006,894.75.
“I haven’t slept for longer than five minutes since I saw the win last night!” she exclaimed when confirming her win with an official from The Lott.
“Oh my god! I can’t believe this is real.
“I screamed my lungs hoarse last night, but I think it’s starting to sink in this morning.
“It’s the best early Christmas present I’ve ever received, and it’s going to change my life.
“I’ll pay off my car, help my family, and it’s going to set my husband and I up for retirement, which is absolutely incredible.
“We won’t rush out and spend it, that’s for sure, but 2023 is going to look very different now.
“What an amazing way to end the year. Thank you so much!”
The winning woman purchased her System 8 QuickPick entry from newsXpress Coomera, Shop 8 Rededge Coomera, 133 Finnegan Way, Coomera.
