Clare mother scores $100,000 on bonus Lucky Lotteries ticket

A Clare mum admits her head is still spinning from this morning’s $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win, which she declared had ‘made her life’.

The South Australian resident won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10491, drawn Monday 20 September 2021.

As well as winning the 1st Prize, the winner also won a consolation prize of $1,000, boosting her total windfall to $101,000.

Straight after the draw, an official from The Lott called the euphoric woman, who was left dumbfounded by the thrilling news.

“Wow! Are you serious?” she laughed.

“Oh my god! I just received an email about my win and I didn’t know if it was real.

“I’m shocked. I won on a free bonus ticket as well!

“Every Friday, my mum and I purchase an entry in Lucky Lotteries. As usual, I purchased an entry for my mum last week. However, I wasn’t contemplating purchasing an entry for myself.

“When I scanned my last entry at the outlet, they gave me a bonus ticket that I’d won.

“I can’t wait to tell my daughter. She is at work and won’t be home until later today. She might not believe me!

“It’s going to be a while until I can process this. This has made my life.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the generous woman thought of her family first.

“I’d like to help my parents, as well as my daughter and I,” she revealed.

“It’s been a challenging time for all of us, and this will help significantly.”

The winning entry of two consecutive numbers was from Clare Pharmacy, 1/260 Main North Road, Clare.

Clare Pharmacy team member Fiona Langman said the whole team was over the moon to have sold a winning entry.

“We’re very excited and happy to hear the prize went to a regular customer,” she said.

“Hopefully this is the first of many wins in Lucky Lotteries! We’ve never sold a winning entry in the game before.

“It was a great start to our morning to see we’ve helped someone. A big congratulations to the winner from everyone at Clare Pharmacy.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $3.40 million for draw 1545, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $2.71 million for draw 10492.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 136 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $46.09 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May 2021.
