A Forster man’s drive home took a turn for the better when officials from The Lott called to break the news that he won 1st Prize in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Forster resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10619, drawn on Thursday 21 July 2022.
In addition to his $100,000 windfall, the man’s entry also scored a consolation prize of $1000, bolstering his total win to $101,000.
Speaking with The Lott officials this morning, the ecstatic man had to pull over before hearing the winning news.
“Could you hold on a second? I need to pull over!” the winning man exclaimed.
“You’re kidding! Wow, this is so cool! I reckon you’ve just made my day.
“I missed your calls and I thought I’d better pull over so I can see who’s calling me.
“You have no idea what this means to me and my partner.
“This means that in a month’s time, we will have finally paid off our house.
“This is going to make such a difference!
“I have to go call my partner!”
“Forster Keys Mini Mart is my go-to store. I go there whenever I purchase tickets. They know me there!
“I’m not sure how we’re going to celebrate but we’ll be going away in a few weeks to the south coast!
“This is the best thing ever, thank you.”
His winning entry of 4 consecutive numbers was purchased at Forster Keys Mini Mart, Shop 1, King George Parade, Forster.
Forster Keys Mini Mart team were over the moon to have sold the 1st Prize winning entry and hoped their winner could enhance their life for years to come with their good fortune.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $12.53 for draw 1583, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $19.65 for draw 10624.
In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.
