A retired woman from Craigmore is still in a state of disbelief after discovering she is now over $439,000 richer from winning division one in Saturday’s X Lotto draw.
The north Adelaide winner held one of the nine division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 3901 drawn on Saturday 8 December 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $439,800.84.
When an SA Lotteries official made contact with the winner this morning, she couldn’t help but exclaim in disbelief.
“Oh my god! I hadn’t checked my ticket! Oh my goodness. Thank you!” she exclaimed.
“How much is that again? I’m going to have to write that down. I don’t believe it!
“I’ll need to ring my sons and let them know! I don’t think they will believe me – I don’t believe it actually! I just don’t believe it!”
When asked how she planned to spend her X Lotto windfall, the incredulous winner revealed her sons were at the top of her Lotto List.
“I’ve been playing for quite some time, and then thought I’d play it for my sons so I’ll definitely share it with them,” she said.
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 18 game QuickPick entry from Craigmore Newsagency, Shop 6 & 18 Craigmore Village Shopping Centre, 176-190 Yorktown Road, Craigmore.
Craigmore Newsagency team member Mary Qin said she was excited that her outlet had sold a division one winning entry.
“What a thrill!” she exclaimed.
“When we found out the good news that we had sold a winner we all got very excited.
“It’s just amazing to help one of our winners realise their dream of winning the lottery!”
So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday X Lotto and X Lotto have created 171 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in X Lotto draw 3901 on Saturday 8 December 2018 were 23, 6, 2, 25, 43 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 7.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in X Lotto draw 3901 – five in Victoria, three in Western Australia and one in South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 171 so far this financial year, including 13 won by SA Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2018, there were 290 division one winning X Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
