Eight Toowong shoppers are sporting winning smiles today after their syndicate, called Daddy Cool, won division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Brisbane players held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4291 on Saturday 3 September 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $2 million.
In addition to the division one prize, the syndicate’s System entry also won division three 24 times, division four 90 times and division six 80 times, bolstering the group’s total prize to $2,021,802.40.
Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $252,725.30.
However, some members of the syndicate may have yet to realise their windfall, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.
Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Nextra Toowong, Toowong Village, 9 Sherwood Road, Toowong.
Nextra Toowong manager Christine Winslett said the outlet was celebrating selling its first division one winning entry.
“We set up this syndicate, Daddy Cool, as a special for Father’s Day. Hopefully there’s eight very happy dads out there!” she said.
“Imagine it! Waking up to more than $250,000 on Father’s Day.
“It’s great to see so many winners and we can’t wait to sell another division one winning ticket.”
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he urged anyone who purchased a syndicate share from Nextra Toowong to check their entry today.
“While many of the winning Brisbane syndicate members registered their entries to a player card, others may have yet to discover they’re part of this winning group,” he said.
“What better way to launch into spring than by sharing a division one win? We can’t wait to unite all the syndicate members with their prize, so today’s the day to check those tickets lying around the home, car and anywhere else.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4291 on 3 September 2022 were 10, 18, 39, 3, 21 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 41 and 43.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4291 – five from Queensland, three from Victoria and and one each from Tasmania and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 300 so far this calendar year, including 69 won by Golden Casket customers.
In FY22, Saturday Gold Lotto created 196 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 324 division one winning in Saturday Gold Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $461.69 million
