Two Adelaideans have entered the working week sporting winning grins after each scored almost a million dollars in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
The two South Australians each held one of the 21 division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4489 on Saturday 27 July 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $952,380.96.
Rostrevor woman left sleepless after early morning X Lotto revelation
A Rostrevor mum in her 40s has admitted she didn’t get a wink of sleep after she checked her Saturday X Lotto ticket in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“I just happened to pop out of bed around 3am and I saw I had an email from The Lott. I thought I’d take a look and thought I’d probably just won $8 or something.
“But the message was different to the normal ones I’ve received.
“When I looked at my ticket, oh my god!
“I went and woke up my husband and we haven’t slept since!
“I can’t believe it. I don’t know how to feel. I feel a bit weird.
“All these things are going through my head.
“I’m going to have some breakfast and catch up on my sleep before making any decisions but it means so much to my family.”
The woman’s winning marked 14-game entry at Rostrevor Pharmacy, Shop 1, 161 St Bernards Road, Rostrevor.
Torrensville man starts house hunting after X Lotto win
Hours after discovering he’d scored a Saturday X Lotto division one win, a Torrensville man has happily started hunting for his dream first home.
“I’m still in shock!” he laughed when speaking to an official from The Lott.
“I checked my ticket as soon as the numbers came out on Saturday night.
“I checked my ticket on the app, and I just saw the numbers all lit up.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god! That’s six numbers!’.
“I think I slept two hours the whole night. It’s unbelievable.
“This means my very own home and I’ve already started looking at houses online.”
The man’s winning 18-game QuickPick entry via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4489 on 27 July 2024 were 4, 37, 45, 27, 11 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 10.
Across Australia, there were 21 division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4489 – eight in Victoria, five in New South Wales, four in Queensland and two each in South Australia and Western Australia..
