Bridport man scores $630,000 TattsLotto division one win

A Bridport man made the happy discovery he was more than $630,000 richer yesterday morning after checking his TattsLotto ticket.

However, he remained tight-lipped on how he planned to use the prize.

His winning entry was purchased at Bridport Newsagency, 89 Main Street, Bridport.

Bridport Newsagency co-owner Leonie Stein said her outlet was celebrating their first division one win since taking ownership in August 2018.

“We did do a little happy dance when we saw we’d sold the division one winning ticket,” she said.

“It’s very exciting. I just keep thinking how it could be a life-changer for someone.

“We send our winner the biggest congratulations and hope it brings them happiness.”

Ring! Ring! Ring! Who is Ulverstone’s mystery TattsLotto winner?

An Ulverstone shopper has had a winning start to the week after scoring a division one prize in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw – they just don’t know it yet.

Although the entry is registered, officials from The Lott have been unable to reach out to the winner on the contact details provided.

The winning entry was purchased at Ulverstone Lucky Lotto, 28 Reiby Street, Ulverstone.

Ulverstone Lucky Lotto owner Peter Rees said he was on the hunt for his mystery winner.

“I was so surprised when I saw the win. It’s such a thrill to have sold a division one winning ticket,” he explained.

“We’ll be celebrating this win with all our customers. No doubt they’re all wondering who the mystery winner is and hoping they’re next.

“This is our third division one win in 12 years, and we are always surprised to sell another.

“Selling a division one winning entry attracts so much positive energy. It’s great for our store, our winner, and the community.

“Hopefully our winner discovers this news soon and it brings them so much happiness!”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said the mystery winner could be oblivious to the fact their winning entry was in their pocket, in their purse or stuck on the fridge.

“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize,” she said.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4235 on 19 February 2022 were 34, 18, 1, 5, 20 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 9.

Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4235 – three in Queensland and two each in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 293 so far this financial year, including 106 won by Tatts customers.
