A Pimpama father is set to delight his family with an overseas holiday of a lifetime after he discovered he’d won an Instant Scratch-Its top prize worth $200,000.
The Gold Coast resident’s winning $15 Crosswords Book Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Eagleby Post Office, Shop 4, Eagleby Shopping Plaza, 142 Fryar Road, Eagleby.
Despite claiming his prize at The Lott Headquarters days earlier, the winning man was still buzzing with excitement while speaking with lottery officials days later.
“I’m honestly still wrapping my head around it all!” he laughed.
“It’s not every day you hear someone win two hundred thousand dollars.
“I’ve always enjoyed buying an Instant Scratch-Its ticket here and there but never expected to win anything this big.
“I’ve decided to surprise my kids with plane tickets and an overseas adventure.
“They don’t know what’s coming!
“It’s always been a dream to take my family overseas.
“Thank you very much!”
