A Dubbo grandmother found herself lost for words after discovering her $200,000 Lucky Lotteries win.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1463, drawn Monday 9 December 2019.
Confirming her win with a NSW Lotteries official, the woman explained she’d walked into her local newsagency completely unaware she was holding a winning ticket.
“Goodness me!” she cried with happiness.
“I’m a bit lost for words at the minute.
“I just went into the newsagency to check my ticket and got the surprise of my life.
“Oh my gosh!
“It’s wonderful. Just wonderful.
“It’s unbelievable. What an incredible day!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the loving grandmother said it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
“It’s such a great time of year to receive a prize like this!” she exclaimed.
“This is going to help my family so much! I’m totally stunned.
“I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with it! I’m going to have to digest this news.
“I’ll be able to help our children and grandchildren.
“It’s going to be a lovely Christmas!”
The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of one random number at News at the Mall, T35 Orana Mall Marketplace, Mitchell Highway, Dubbo.
News at the Mall employee Hanna Starr said the outlet was on a winning streak.
“This is the third major prize winning entry we’ve sold this year,” she said.
“We’re absolutely on a lucky run and we hope it continues for our customers.
“We’re so happy and excited for our latest winner.
“Congratulations to her! We hope she enjoys her prize.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $8.85 million for draw 1464 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $890,000 for draw 10338.
