An Edensor Park man has revealed it was a slew of missed calls from lottery officials that finally prompted him to check his $1 million winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entry.
The Sydneysider held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4210, drawn Monday 22 August 2022, and took home $1 million.
“This is great! Thank you!” the winning man cheered when his exciting news was finally confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“I saw I had missed calls from you, and for some reason, that reminded me to check my ticket!
“I remember seeing your number appear on the screen and thinking, ‘I don’t know that number’.
“I’m obviously still in shock, so I haven’t really thought about what I will do with it.
“I think I’m going to keep this win quiet and treat myself to something nice to celebrate.

His winning 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4210 on Monday 22 August 2022 were 8, 7, 41, 17, 39, 26, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 42.
