An Edmondson Park retiree has confirmed good things come to those who wait, checking his various lottery entries and discovering a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win three months after the draw.
The Sydney resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10639, drawn Thursday 11 August 2022.
“I need to check my tickets more often!” the winning man laughed when confirming his win with an official from The Lott.
“My wife and I have been travelling, so I didn’t even think about it.
“After finding a few tickets this morning, I thought, ‘I’d better check these,’ and lo and behold, up pops this incredible win!
“It’s going to make our lives so much easier, allowing us flexibility and the opportunity to help our children and family.
“There are a few things around the house that need to be done too.
“It really is amazing!
“I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I won, and I haven’t had a clue for three months!
“Just goes to show you should always check your tickets.”
His winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased from Edmondson Park Newsagency, Shop AG13, 52 Soldiers Parade, Edmondson Park.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.24 million for draw 1598, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.28 million for draw 10732.
