Eight Melburnians are starting the season with an extra spring in their step after sharing a division one syndicate win in the weekend's TattsLotto draw.

The group syndicate, aptly named ‘Cash A Licious’, was one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto, draw 4499, drawn on Saturday 31 August 2024. Each entry won a division one prize of $2,500,000.00.

The syndicate’s System entry also won division three 24 times, division four 90 times, and division six 80 times, bolstering their total windfall to $2,525,248.20.

Each member of the syndicate took home a $315,656.03 prize.

Shares into the group syndicate were set up by Acland Court Pharmacy Lotto, 160A Acland St, St Kilda, and were also sold at Lara Lotto Cards & Gifts, 9 The Centreway, Lara, and Wandin Newsagency, Shop 17-18 Union Road, Wandin.

With some of the syndicate members holding unregistered entries, The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said some of the winning group might still be unaware of their good fortune.

“While we’ll be reaching out to four of the syndicate members who registered their TattsLotto tickets to their player card, the other half of the syndicate members hold unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group,” she said.

“If you purchased a share in a group syndicate for the recent TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it! Players can check their tickets online via thelott.com or via The Lott app.

“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!

“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account, so if they are to score division one, we can reach out to them straight after the draw.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4499 on 31 August 2024 were 6, 39, 15, 20, 32 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 30 and 1.

Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4499 – four in Victoria, two in New South Wales, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 298 so far in 2024, including 112 won by Tatts customers.

In FY24, TattsLotto created 158 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 291 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
