After ten days of searching for the elusive winning ticket holder of last Tuesday’s $30 million Oz Lotto jackpot, the winner has finally come forward to claim their multi-million dollar prize.

The anonymous winner stepped forward today holding their winning entry that won $30 million in Oz Lotto draw 1282 drawn on Tuesday 11 September 2018.

But exactly who the winner is, where they’ve been and what they plan to do with their multi-million-dollar payday will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning entry was purchased from Pacific Square News Shop 17, Pacific Square Shopping Centre, 707-747 Anzac Parade, Maroubra.

Pacific Square News owner David Zou said he was relieved to hear that the mystery winner had come forward to claim their prize.

“It has been busy in store over the ten days with people checking their tickets and everyone kept asking me and asking me ‘Have you found the winner?’,” he explained.

“I was getting worried they had lost the ticket or thrown it away so I am so relieved to hear they have been united with their prize.

“While I will never know who it is, I hope it is one of my regular customers and that they enjoy their multi-millionaire lifestyle!”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said that while we will never know for sure how the winner plans to spend their multi-millions she can guarantee the amount will be life-changing for the winner.

“With our winners’ bank balance about to balloon by that many zeroes we can be assured that they will have the opportunity to do anything they have dreamed of,” she said.

“Many of our winners tell us that the first thing they do will be to ensure they look after their family followed by buying a property and going on holiday.

“Other winners tell us they look forward to helping generations to come by investing it wisely or donating to charities.

“Whatever our winner decides to do, we know from other winners’ experiences that many people will benefit either directly, or indirectly, from such a whopping win.”

Officials are urging anyone who purchased an unregistered entry into Powerball draw 1166 to check their tickets as soon as possible and if they believe they are the winner to contact 131 868 to begin the claim prize process.
