An Edithburgh dad has admitted he didn’t sleep a wink last night after discovering his million-dollar X Lotto win just before bedtime.
The South Australian held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 4351 on Wednesday 27 December 2023. Each division one winning entry pocketed $1 million.
“I haven’t slept!” the winning man exclaimed when an official from The Lott contacted him this morning.
“I checked my ticket after the draw and kept looking at my phone saying, ‘this isn’t real’.
“I just kept looking at my ticket. There were too many zeros there!
“You always dream about winning but never think it’s going to happen.
“I’ve had these numbers for years. I picked them a long time ago, but I don’t remember where they came from.”
The loving dad struggled to hold back his tears when he contemplated the enormity of his prize and how he’d use it.
“It’s big,” he said.
“I’ll help the kids out.
“I’d also like to finish the house off.”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 4351 on Wednesday 27 December 2023 were 20, 30, 29, 15, 17 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 31.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 4351 – two from New South Wales and one each in South Australia and Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 408 so far in 2023, including 33 won by SA Lotteries customers.
In FY23, Monday & Wednesday X Lotto created 87 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 93 division one winning Monday & Wednesday X Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $93 million.
